The seventh annual concert of Early Music on Wartmann Prairie was a great success with more than 200 people in attendance. The concert, hosted by William Wartmann, was a fundraiser benefiting the Arts Council of Edgerton
Held on the eve of Madison’s Early Music Festival, concertgoers enjoyed perfect summer weather and a beautiful backdrop of native prairie flowers and grasses, while they listened to Renaissance violin band The King’s Noyse perform a concert for strings, voice and lute by Elizabethan composer John Dowland.
The Arts Council extends its sincere thanks to William Wartmann, David Metzger, Sarah Marty of Madison’s Early Music Festival and the many volunteers who helped make this year’s concert a success.
